Soft mobility, energy-positive constructions, and nature in urban spaces—cities serve as an open-air laboratory for creating a more harmonious and sustainable way of living.
However, despite these transformations, demographic pressure—by 2050, nearly 7 out of 10 people in the world will live in urban areas—climate urgency, and social issues compel us to accelerate. We need to reduce environmental footprint, improve the energy efficiency of buildings, manage water and waste flows, and enhance services and functionalities (housing, facilities, public transportation). These are a set of challenges faced by public authorities, citizens, and businesses, all called upon to play a major role in this transformation together.
So, how can we live in the city differently… with what innovations and for what impact? How can we continue to attract populations and create an environment that meets their expectations? Finally, how can businesses support these changes and with what partners by their side?
Our guests, business leaders (in mobility, real estate development, energy, etc.), members of civil society, and personalities from the academic world will provide their insights and experiences around new practices for living in the city differently!
This conference is organized in partnership with Le Journal du Dimanche and Europe 1.
